Vent Hood Cleaning Information

Cleaning
Hoods, grease removal devices, fans, ducts, should be cleaned regularly before they are heavily contaminated with grease or sludge. After the exhaust system is cleaned, it is inspected.

Exhaust System Inspection Schedule
• Solid fuel cooking (wood, charcoal): Monthly
• High volume cooking, and woks, and broiling: Quarterly
• Moderate volume cooking: Semiannually
• Low volume cooking: Annually

When complete, the vent hood and ducts are inspected, then dampers checked to be in the right position, then power is restored.

We have a mobile power washing system used for the cleaning process.
